Highlights of Previous Professional Experience
Mr. Chakkera has twelve years experience in investment and financial management with nine years directly involved in a variety of investment Functions including investment strategy, portfolio management and investment research.
Prior to joining Long Term Solutions, LLC, Mr. Chakkera was Chief Investment Officer at Inlign Wealth Management, one of the largest privately held wealth management firms in the Phoenix area. Mr. Chakkera was responsible for developing and implementing the investment strategies and policies for Inlign. As CIO, he provided global market and economic perspectives for strategic and tactical decision-making, helped develop complex asset allocation methodologies and construction of tax-efficient portfolios. Mr. Chakkera also led the investment research process for both traditional and alternative asset classes and also worked closely with key Inlign clients on the investment advisory process.
Prior to joining Inlign, Mr. Chakkera was Director of Research and Senior Portfolio Manager at Sand Hill Advisors, a Palo A lot based wealth management firm, where he was responsible for developing investment strategies, ongoing tactical implementation of client portfolios and managing the research and portfolio management functions at the firm.
Prior to 2003, he was a Portfolio manager at Glaze Capital Management, where he was responsible for managing client portfolios including asset allocation, security selection, trading and portfolio implementation.
Mr. Chakkera received his MBA in Finance from Indiana University and also has Masters and Bachelors degrees in Engineering. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the Phoenix CFA society.
