Highlights of Previous Professional Experience

Ms. Laughlin has over seventeen years experience in public accounting providing a wide variety of services in the areas of compliance, planning and research.

Prior to joining Long-Term Solutions, LLC, Ms. Laughlin was a Tax Director at Frank, Rimerman + Co., LLP, one of the largest locally-owned providers of accounting and consulting services in Northern California. Ms. Laughlin was responsible for managing overall client relationships and providing services to high-net worth individuals and closely-held entities, including family limited partnerships, limited liability companies and S and C Corporations spanning a variety of industries. She also serviced non-profit organizations, private foundations, supporting organizations and charitable remainder trusts. Ms. Laughlin specialized in estate and trust compliance and administration, including preparation of fiduciary accountings.

Ms. Laughlin worked extensively with multi-generational families and their related entities. She worked closely with their family office personnel and other professional advisors, and was involved in developing and implementing estate and gift tax planning strategies, annual and quarterly income tax planning, assisting with property, payroll and sales tax matters, and preparation and analysis of financial statements.

Ms. Laughlin received her BS in Accounting from the University of Denver.

She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
